Geospatial World Forum (GWF) 2025, produced by Geospatial World, will be held from 22 to 25 April 2025 at the Madrid Marriott Auditorium in Madrid, Spain. Themed “Spatial Computing and Digital Twin Enterprise”, this edition of the Forum will bring together global geospatial leaders and professionals to explore the convergence of digital and physical worlds through cutting-edge technologies.
The Geospatial World Forum (GWF) is a premier international event that serves as a collaborative and interactive platform showcasing the shared vision of the global geospatial community. Held annually, the Forum convenes key stakeholders from across the geospatial ecosystem—including public policy makers, national mapping and space agencies, private sector leaders, multilateral organizations, academic institutions, and major end-users from government and commercial sectors.
Recognized for its progressive themes, rich content, high-profile participation, and valuable networking opportunities, the 16th edition of GWF will continue its tradition of fostering innovation and dialogue in Madrid, Spain.
GWF 2025 will center on the transformative theme of “Spatial Computing & Digital Twin Enterprise”, exploring how the integration of spatial technologies is revolutionizing our interaction with the world. Spatial computing—powered by real-time sensor data, advanced algorithms, intelligent software, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR)—enables seamless integration of digital and physical environments. These innovations are redefining operations across various sectors, including urban planning, infrastructure, healthcare, and manufacturing.
A key focus of this year’s theme is the Digital Twin Enterprise—virtual replicas of physical systems driven by live spatial data. These models empower professionals to manage, simulate, analyze, and optimize complex geospatial datasets in real time, enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency.
Participants at GWF 2025 will experience a dynamic showcase of pioneering solutions, breakthrough case studies, and the latest advancements in research and development. The Forum will also address critical challenges and opportunities in deploying these technologies, emphasizing their role in fostering sustainability, resilience, and the advancement of a future-ready geospatial ecosystem.
