Thank you for ensuring the success of the 1st INDIA SWEDEN SPACE & GEOSPATIAL BUSINESS SUMMIT & INDIAN SPACE AND GEOSPATIAL TRADE MISSION TO SWEDEN! We appreciate your support and look forward to your continued participation in all our future endeavors.
India and Sweden have enjoyed a long-standing and close relationship built on shared values, robust business and investment connections, and strong research and development ties. Both nations also share similar approaches in addressing global challenges related to peace, security, and development.
The Indian – Swedish Space cooperation began in the year 1986 through a pivotal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) and SNSB (The Swedish National Space Board). This partnership has since flourished, leading to a series of high-level meetings and MoUs spanning multiple sectors, such as Science & Technology, Defense, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Information Technology, and Digitalization, complementing their joint efforts in space and geospatial industriesgeospatial industries. These sectors include Science & Technology, Defense, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Information Technology, and Digitalization.
The first-ever Indian Space and Geospatial Industry Trade Mission to Sweden, organized by GWCC, signifies a significant milestone in the collaboration between India and Sweden in the realms of geospatial and space technology.
This achievement is particularly noteworthy, as it aligns with the goals of both the Indian and Swedish governments in the field of space technology, aiming to accelerate the prospects for enhancing exports and investments in India-Sweden innovations.
